ShyFile.net Affiliate Program
You will receive a commission on all orders placed by referrals from your web site.
Do you have your own web site? Becoming a ShyFile.net affiliate is quick and easy and at no cost to you. No matter how big or how small your web site is, we would like to have you as an affiliate. You will receive a 30% commission on all orders placed by referrals from your web site, even if the actual sale was made weeks later on our site and not through a buy-button on the affiliate's page.
The real challenge technically, is the following: How can we give an affiliate credit for a sale that happened days or weeks later than the click-through that sent the user to our page?
In order to solve this problem we have partnered with sellshareware.com, a service to acquire affiliates, powered by our e-commerce provider RegSoft.com.
How it works?
First, click here to sign up for a SellShareware affiliate account. This tells us and SellShareware about you, your site(s), and where to send the checks.
Next, you select ShyFile (Vendor ID 21011) from SellShareware's library to advertise or recommend to your visitors (by the way, there are hundreds of other applications listed you can earn commsission from as well). Our Author ID with sellshareware.com is 21011, ShyFile's product ID is 41878. You then place some text links or banner ads on your site linking to ShyFile.net. You can advertise any way you like, but NO SPAMMING.
When a customer clicks from your site to ShyFile's webs ite, he can get all of the details about the software, he can choose to purchase immediately, or for most products, download and try out the program first.
If the customer decides to purchase it immediately, and some do, RegSoft.com take their credit card order via the internet and credit your affiliate account with a sale.
If the user decides to download and try the program first, SellShareware places a cookie on the user's system, noting the fact that you sent the user to try that program. If at anytime later, that users purchases this program, SellShareware.com will match up the cookie on the user's system with your account, and make sure you get credit for the sale. You are paid by SellShareware directly, not by us.
When do you get paid?
You can check your account statistics on SellShareware's web site at any time to see how much you are earning. SellShareware pays on a monthly basis. Since there could be a small percentage of refunds, they delay payments by 30 days. So, they'll send you a check 30 days after the close of each month. For example, sales you generate in June would be paid at the end of July.
