Has your ShyFile software been validated or approved by any government organization? We are interested in your product, but must ensure it has been accepted as a valid alternative to other better known means of secure email.
No, ShyFile has not been validated
by any government organization. During the development of the algorithm-standards,
like AES and DES, the NSA allegedly was eager to get a backdoor implemented. So we don't think that the interest of encryption software developers in general and the interest of governmental organizations
perfectly match. However, what we did to prove ShyFile's strength was to come up with a contest
to crack an encoded ShyFile for $10,000. Of course, no one was ever able to. If somebody actually does crack a ShyFile, we would shut down this company right away.
