I can't decode a binary file or message with a long key (e.g. a sentence), it always comes back with 'Invalid Key' using the same key I have encoded it with.

1. You need to make sure that the key phrase you have encoded your information with is absolutely equal to the key phrase you try to decode it with! Remember, every character counts, every character is case sensitive and the amount of spaces between characters count just as well. Beside that, make sure you don't make use of too many exotic characters and European Umlauts in your key entry, such as ôéèêàîç, or úéíóáñ, or ùèàò, or åøæþðáíú.

2. Starting from version 6.23, ShyFile allows the user to use a string of characters of any length (provided it is made of at least 32 characters) as the key, as opposed to a key made of either precisely 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 or 1,024 characters. Therefore, any data encrypted by ShyFile v6.23 (or higher) can not be decoded by a version of ShyFile below 6.23 if the key that is made use of consists of any amount of characters between the aforementioned units. You will need to update ShyFile to be able decode this data.
