"ShyFile is an encryption/decryption utility which simply does what it says--and it is not too complicated or unwieldy to use. Read-me help file is to the point & takes not too much experience to absorb. I encrypted & sent out 4 email easily and all the receivers needed to do open the attached files was a couple of clicks after entering the key, which has to be 32 characters at least. I liked its ease of use and fairly good learning curve. I recommend it highly for those who do not need the sophistication & long learning curve of PGP. It gets the job done with minimum fuss-- a good addition to the cause of internet privacy!"

"ShyFile is a personal security program for encrypting files. It's excellent for protecting files on your local drive, but it's especially suited for distributing data as e-mail attachments. All encoding and decoding can be quickly performed from within ShyFile. However, because all files include an algorithm, recipients won't need the program for decrypting. In fact, you can even set-up a secret ShyFile page on your Web site where all data can be encoded and decoded. All you or your recipients will need is the 32 character encryption key that you create.
